This has been bugging me for a long time.

I own a Acer AXC-603-EB11 from a few years back and I'm looking at possibly upgrading it just for fun (and of course for a bit more speed on the cheap).

However, I can't confirm whether the motherboard is Small Form Factor or MicroATX.

Any ideas or suggestions?

    Hello,
The form factor is microATX (μATX).

So does this mean I can easily purchase a newer microATX motherboard, a new CPU and swap it out easily?  Has anyone ever tried?

Do you think I'll need a newer power supply as well?

Sorry for all the questions and thank you in advance.

Be aware that the PSU in that case is a smaller form factor than most. The 220W version is pretty easy to find but bumping it up over 300W can be problematic. If you want to do much in the way of upgrades you are likely better off to start from scratch with a newer system.
