I just purchased & received my Acer Aspire TC-885-UA92 and looking to add a case fan (or two) to help keep the cooling in check. I have very little experience with computer hardware in this area. From what I can see, there is one available 4-pin PWM Sys_Fan slot. What I would like to know is it safe to add 1x PWM 92mm 12V case fan? How do I find out the tech specs of the motherboard? How many fans can I safely add to the Sys_Fan header if I were to use a splitter? And is there anything I need to do in the BIOS for the case fans to run properly or is it plug&play

I've included an image of the fan header on the mobo

Acer Aspire TC-885-UA92
9th Gen Intel Core i5-9400
12GB DDR4, 512GB SSD

Thanks in advance!

I have seen success with two fans off that header, using a Y cable. They will both be controlled to the same speed. I wouldn't want to go with more than two though, and likely one will give you pretty much all the cooling you need.

And will a 12v fan will be the correct one to use? Assuming amperage is within limits
