Hello. I am having an issue that I literally cant fix on my acer laptop. Whenever I open my laptop, I get the black background with the green ACER letters. After 5 seconds of seeing that screen I get a blue screen error, the name of the error is CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED. Once I get this error, my computer then restarts and then it says in a blue background "Automatic Repair. Your PC did not start correctly". I then get two options. One option is Restart and advanced options. The restart button literally does nothing besides restart my computer and then I just get the blue screen error again. So I click "Advanced Options". I then get a bunch of options to choose from. I click on troubleshoot, I click on "Reset This PC". I literally cant reset my PC though. When I click wipe Reset This PC, it says "Resetting this PC 1%". Once it says that, I instantly get something that says "Undoing Changes". I have tried to go into safe mode, I have tried literally everything and nothing is working. If anybody could try and help me fix this, that would be great! Thanks!

The "Critical_Process_Died" could refer to many problems includes software or hardware, computers do enter the loop of continuous rebooting due to "Critical Process Died" (just like yours is) every time they boot and this is when a critical system process dies while showing its bug check error, do you get a code 0x000000EF or a blue screen error? Its because a critical system can't run properly and that is why the operating system will run into troubles.

See this article here: https://www.partitionwizard.com/partitionmagic/critical-process-died.html and their many solutions on all scenario's of "Critical_Process_Died" error and take the appropriate steps to fix this. Good luck and hope this helps.
