I have an almost similar problem. When the computer goes to sleep or monitor shuts of after defined number of minutes, it won't activate touching either keyboard or mousepad. The only solution is to close the screen cover lid for at least three seconds and open it again, or (and this helps sometimes but not always) unplug the charger. It's quite annoying. Any solution?
