Aspire 5 A515-54 Boots Up Fine but the screen is blank and no signal to external monitor

Just bought an Acer Aspire 5 a few weeks ago.
Walked away from it for a few minutes and came back to black screen. Power cycled by holding in the button for 15 sec etc. etc., also tried fn+f5 and fn+f6. I tried two different HDMI cords to connect it to an external monitor I know works fine. No splash screen, logo, cursor or anything. Boots up just fine, no loud sounds like its overheating, and it has a ssd.
If anyone can recommend something I haven't done yet or can point me in the right direction, I'd be grateful! If it helps, I'm pretty knowledgeable with hardware disassembly and have the right tools if you think something might have just come unseated. Thanks!
