Hi all,

I think the fans of Orion 3000 are loud and can disturb my work, even when CPU is only 42 degrees (C) and the front fan runs only at 1074 rpm. I am thinking about replacing/upgrading at least one of the fans. Do you think which one (case fans vs. CPU cooler) is louder? I will want to replace/upgrade the louder one.

Some people here have demonstrated their experience in upgrading their case fans and CPU cooler. But it seems that it is necessary to entirely unmount the motherboard to install the CPU cooler's base; the process looks not easy. Is there any good, quiet CPU cooler that doesn't require unmounting the motherboard?

Model: PO3-600 (Intel i7-9700 + Nvidia RTX 2060 + 16GB RAM)

Thanks!

I believe most of the people who are replacing fans to help the noise level are doing the case fans, not the CPU fan.
