My Acer Aspire F15 5-573 fully charged battery won't power on the computer

I recently replaced my battery and waited for the charger light to go off to ensure the battery was fully charged.  I then unplugged the power adaptor/charger and tried to turn on the computer,  Nothing - it won't power on.  I tried the battery reset using a paper clip in the small pinhole in the bottom of the case.  Still nothing.  I removed the battery and held down the on-button for a few seconds to discharge any possible static charge buildup.  Put the battery back in and still won't power up the computer.  I removed the battery again and plugged in the power adaptor/charger.  The computer came on like normal.  Is there a way to trace the motherboard circuits to see if the battery power is reaching the power-on button?

Solved my problem.  It was an error on my part.  When I re-attached the keyboard ribbon, I inadvertantly had the slide lock on top of the cable instead of under the cable.  Discovered this when the computer wouldn't turn on at all - battery or power adaptor.  Took it back apart and saw the problem.  Battery now powers on the computer just fine.  Lesson - pay better attention when disassembling the computer - take a photo.
