There's shadow-like borders around my Acer Swift 3

I noticed that around the borders of the screen are some lighter shadows from the bezels (see attached photos but not that visible). It is really obvious when I go full screen with dark colors. Is this normal? It's okay if it is. But if it's not, what causes this?

Yes, very normal and accentuated when there is a dark screen. It caused by bleed and reflections from the display backlight. When there is a lot of light blocking in the screen (such as when the image is dark) the bleed provides more of a contrast than when the screen is letting a bunch of the light through (such as when the image is light).
