Will My Nitro 5 Warranty Cover Overheating Damages?

I'm planning to get my Nitro 5's (AN515-54) CMOS battery replaced (along with other possible fixes) using Acer Customer Service's help and I'm wondering if my Nitro 5's warranty will cover for damages related to overheating (the warranty has not expired yet). These are some cases that the warranty says it will not cover:  Since the damages on my Nitro 5 caused by overheating can be considered an "accident", does that mean my warranty won't cover for this? My previous laptop (which wasn't a gaming one) never crashed from overheating when playing the same games that my Nitro 5 runs, and both had the same table setup prior to my Nitro 5's overheating crash (which now has a laptop cooler to sit on and doesn't crash from overheating anymore).
