I did a clean install of windows on my laptop, and I'm thinking about reinstalling the acer software on it or not. Dose it has any sense to install the predator sense? I am using adobe applications all day, so I try to keep this pc as clean as possible, with the lowest number of applications installed. And what about the other two, the quick acces and care center? Are they consuming much? Do they run in background? For me is very important since how I said, I am using both adobe photoshop and illustrator, many times in the same time, so if there is something running in the background, it slows my work flow and performance.

These applications are not necessary but important.
With PredatorSense™, users can customize, control and enhance elements of their game and hardware environments all from one place.

With quick access, makes it fast and easy to adjust the settings you use most often. Acer Quick Access provides options to quickly toggle individual wireless devices on or off, change power-off USB charge settings, modify network sharing options, and much more.

    With Acer care centre,
Keep your computer running smoothly with Acer Care Centre. You’ll get up-to-date driver and software information along with maintenance support. You can even check system info and give your PC a tune-up for better performance.

Good, and do they run in the background and consuming what could affect my performance when I use graphics software like adobe photoshop and illustrator? Because these software are eating up everything from my cpu to my gpu to my ram and so on.

    Hi
i am not sure if the undervolt is done by predator sense or by the bios. I noticed if predatorsense is not installed my cpu isn’t undercooked.

Also predatorsense seems to only work if your account is an administrator.

    Hi

Well I decided not to keep it and I tell you why, predator sense do work in the background, it makes 3 different process in task manager, and they use an amount of around 300 or maybe a bit less of mgs of memory and some cpu. So like this for me is not really okay, since I use the laptop for adobe photoshop and illustrator most of the time in the same time, plus some other apps, and I use them with some stuff what already spins my system on a very high level, so another 300 mg for my rams and some percentage for the cpu is non sense for the reason to keep the machine cooler, since it basically makes it it even worse. Maybe fr games it's okay but for what I'm using it, it doesn't seams to have any sense.
The Acer care what the Acer site provides for my laptop doesn't work only what I download from the windows store, and that version has very limited features, like I can check the battery health, my wifi and the system info, but it doesn't check the rams, and other stuff so it has no sense. While the third app, the quick access seams to be one risky thing to have on a pc. some older versions already had issues of hijacking so I prefered not to have, but anyways these things are something you can handle from windows mostly.
What I would like to have is fan control since they are super loud for some reason, but many predator users say it's normal like that on these laptops, and that dust cleaning option from quick access sounded somehow a good idea, but if all this comes with less performance than I think I prefer nt to have them.
Anyways I'm already after a bios update and I had issues so I just prefer to deal at least I have to with these stuff. And yes, Acer has to deal with these issues like super loud fans when I'm like... drawing in photoshop. Or to have a stable bios, or something. The predator sense app sound really great but how I told you why to put more pressure on my pc. if the whole idea is to make it cooler.
