Hinge problem

Hi! Well I know this hinge problem is common, i had it one, took it to an autorice repair acer center, and after 17 days, the repair my hinge problem, but know i'm getting the same problem at the left side ot it. Did someone had repair this problem by himself? I can't take it to a repair center now because i lost my warranty

What is the model of your laptop? Its possible to repair hinge problems but and it depends on the problem? If its the actual hinge, then you have to buy a new hinge if its the case mounting points, that are broken, then, you have to buy a new bottom case (which is very cheap) but, you have to take everything out and swap all components to new bottom case. I've done this many times and it’s a specialist and tedious job, you have to be careful and make sure that you have a static wrist strap and be prudent in putting everything back together. Also, if you are buying a copy bottom case or none OEM, make sure that the bottom case vent holes are not covered over and are clear (as usually they are not inspected or cleaned) for the venting to work properly. All in all it’s a basic job but you do have to know what you are doing.
