Hello, I have recently bought a Nitro 5 AN515-54 and can't seem to get the M.2 NVMe SSD to show up as a bootable drive. It doesn't show itself neither on the Boot priority menu in the BIOS, nor on the Windows format drive selection when I tried formatting my system. I have confirmed that it is actually working and I see the drive, I even cloned my C: drive to it as an attempt to then change the boot order but it didnt work. The BIOS also recognizes the drive in the information screen, as Drive 1. I have also updated my BIOS to the latest version have tried to launch it on Safe Boot mode as per some of the advices that I have read on this board.

What do you think would be causing this?

    Hi, perform this steps:
    1. Click the Start Button and type cmd
    2. Right-click the result and select Run as administrator
    3. Type this command and press ENTER: bcdedit /set {current} safeboot minimal (ALT: bcdedit /set safeboot minimal)
    4. Restart the computer and enter BIOS Setup
    5. Change the SATA Operation mode to AHCI from either IDE, RAID or RST with optane. Only if no option in BIOS present - Go to BIOS screen, move to Main tab, press Ctrl+S buttons together, press F10 to save and exit, AHCI option should be available in Main tab.
    6. Save changes and exit Setup and Windows will automatically boot to Safe Mode.
    7. Right-click the Windows Start Menu once more. Choose Command Prompt (Admin).
    8. Type this command and press ENTER: bcdedit /deletevalue {current} safeboot (ALT: bcdedit /deletevalue safeboot)
    9. Reboot once more and Windows will automatically start in AHCI Mode
    10. You will be able to see the drive in BIOS as bootable as well                                                                        Please click Yes if I have answered your question

    Thank you!!

At first I didnt see the drive as a boot option from the boot menu so I was skeptical but it seems I am now able to format the SSD. I am doing it now, actually.
