No HDMI output on Nitro 5

Hello, I have a Nitro 5 (an515-53-79y6) laptop that won't output to HDMI most of the time.

It worked fine for several months but one day my laptop went into sleep mode and the second display did not turn back on when I woke it. I have tried many things to get it working again, and sometimes it will work for a few days. Eventually the same thing happens though, when I turn it on from being powered off, or if I let it go into sleep mode, the HDMI will stop working for weeks at a time.
When the HDMI is not working the second display is not detected at all. If I go into display settings and press detect it will not find a second display. Win + P does not connect it to other displays. Fn F5 does not connect it to other displays.

Here are some troubleshooting steps I have taken:
I have tested 3 different (tested and working with other machines) HDMI cables.
I have tried using different displays (TVs and other monitors).
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the display drivers.
I have tried a clean installation of Windows 10.
I have tried installing the manufacturer drivers for my monitor.
I have tried playing with different power settings.

I don't really understand why it will suddenly start working again. Every few days I will try plugging in the monitor very rarely it will actually detect the display and turn on, but usually it doesn't work for weeks at a time. There has been no reliable way for me to get it working again.

    Hi @Robosloth

Just saw your post since I experienced it too today. My HDMI stopped working after I installed Radeon Software (updated 2020). I tried connecting the HDMI cable to my TV's and it was just working fine

I deleted the Radeon Sofware and restarted my PC. The issue is now fixed! Try doing that if it works. Please provide an update. Thanks! I think the Graphics driver needs to be updated manually.
