Hello,
I have been experiencing this frustrating issue with my Acer Nitro 5 AN515-51 laptop since Yesterday where it charges fine up to 70% and then starts to charge off and on repeatedly by the percent until it reaches 90/93% where it starts to charge smoothly afterwards.it has been almost A Year since I have bought this laptop. I have tried almost every possible recommendation posted on here relating to my issue and it still doesn't work.
I have rest the battery by the pin hole
I have uninstalled/disabled the Microsoft ACPI- compliant control
I have de calibrated the batter and still the problem persists.
my windows is up-to-date and on 1903 with good battery status. AC adaptor is connected to a controlled power sources so no worries on the cable or source.

I haven't tried to remove the hard ware at the back to check on the black switch( as recommended) or update my bios as iv heard it might be risky.

plz help me fix this is frustrating problem and as I can not be having this kind of problem on my laptop as I use it for heavy architectural works.
Thank you.

Hi there, try to calibrate the battery again:

Calibrating your battery helps get a proper reading on your current battery charge. If your battery is dying before the reported time given in Windows, it could be that you need to calibrate your battery.

Use the following steps to to re-calibrate the battery:

    1. Turn the notebook or netbook off. Plug in your AC adapter.
    2. Let the unit fully charge, until the battery LED turns off.
    3. Turn on the computer and press the F8 key repeatedly when the first logo screen appears.
    4. In the Windows Advanced Startup menu, select Safe Mode and press the ENTER key.
    5. Unplug the unit and let the computer run on battery until it shuts down.

Note: The process to re-calibrate your battery can take several hours, depending on the battery lifetime and age, and the configuration of your system.
