Hello,

I have an Acer Aspire M3970. 9 years old. I am running Windows 10.
Last night I was closing all my apps and all of a sudden, the computer froze. I left the computer running for 15 minutes to see whether it would unfreeze itself. As it didn't I had to force shut down by holding the power button. I gave the computer 5 minutes to cool down then I tried turning it back on. When I restarted - it continuously beeped and wouldn't display anything on the monitor. I let the beeping go for 2 minutes and then had to force shut down again. So, after that I unplugged the computer and left it unplugged for the night. The next morning it booted into windows and it looked like it was all ok until I needed to go on the internet. I went down to the WiFi bar in the task bar and it showed network settings or airplane mode. It has a WI-FI adapter built into it, but it doesn’t reflect this information or show it.  I went into Device Manager in control panel and it says that it has it built in,but it’s just not picking up any network WI-FI. Attached is the picture I get when I go to see what networks are near me. I then tried resetting the computer and it said that it had an error while trying to reset. Can someone please help me reconnect it to the internet as I will be needing it for school in Term 2. Thanks so much.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Kind Regards
