Why does Acer lag in adding newer items to the 2 and 1s?
So, I have been researching the Spin 3 and 5 and I finding that Acer just lags on adding some vital items and they seem to also have multiple versions of the same 2 and 1s and only with one difference to the units. I’ve narrowed my search down to the Spin 3 due to a stylus dock and included stylus that is included and they seem to be lighter to do the plastic type of material used. While I like the metal version of the Spin 5, the Spin 3 seems to be a better deal with some of the same features as the Spin 5.
The models I have chosen are:
SP513-53N-56CR
SP513-53N-57RE
Key features for both are 8th Gen I5-8265, 8GB mem, 256 GB and Type C port, no thunderbolt
The above 2 Spins seem to have the same specs are only different from one having one less port, SP513-53N-56CR seems have been discontinued in Feb 2020.
The other model I am very interested is SP513-54N-56M2 a unit that is so new there is no model out yet.
Key features are 10th Gen I5-1035G4, 16GB Mem, 512GB SSD, Thunderbolt
Does anyone know if a seconary SSD drive can be added the chassis of these Spin 3s? I am seeing conflicting information and Acer website even seems to have wrong information on features of 2 and 1s

No. Only one m.2 slot in both according to specsheet. 52N is an m.2 SATA3. 53N is a half-speed m.2 NVME. Jack E/NJ
