I have tried setting the laptop to high performance mode in the hardware and sound setting. I have tried changing 3D settings to the high performance NVIDIA. I updated my drivers to the latest version. And yes, I am playing my game with my laptop charge to 100% and power adapter plucked in. After all my attempts. I still get ridiculous drops in FPS mid game. I play Rainbow Six Siege. During selection period, I can get FPS up to 100-120 but the moment the game actually starts, the frames goes to 30, 40 then 20 and then when I die in game, it goes back up to 100. It is extremely frustrating and ridiculous that I spend money on a gaming laptop that cannot run games properly. I have recorded a video of the frame drop but since the file is big , I am unable to attach it here.
