Hi, I have an Aspire V Nitro Black Edition (VN7-591G) and decided to upgrade to m.2 SSD.

I read online that this laptop only supports Sata3 M.2 so i ordered an MX500 500gb m.2 SSD and installed it onto the board. The problem is, after doing so, the SSD is not detected in BIOS nor in Disk Management.

My BIOS is v1.17. Please help me solve this problem.

If it doesn't show up in the BIOS INFORMATION tab then it needs to be re-seated in the m.2 socket a few times and the screw on top of the card firmly tightened. Jack E/NJ
