USB docking or HUB for Acer Aspire VX5 591G

I have the top spec version of the Acer Aspire VX5 591G.
It comes with USB C 3.1 and two USB 3.0 ports.
It seems to be that the USB C 3.1 port does not support video output according to these sites:

Is it however still possible to add an additional screen to extend the workspace?
For example with an USB 3.0 docking or HUB?
An USB 3.1 docking with drivers enabling the feature?

I'm pretty sure that the 1050TI graphic card should be able to handle a second additional screen though.
There is no need for duplicating the screens, so if it does not work with any of the other options, I will live with it as it is.

Only Gen2 with DP or Thunderbolt support.

In this case, you must either use the native HDMi connection, or use a dock, like this:

Thanks for the reply with confirmation that the USB 3.0 port could be used for this purpose.

I got hold of a Raidsonic Icy Box IB-DK2241AC USB 3.0 docking station and can confirm that this one also works.
The Dell version is probably better built but the Raidsonic is a bit cheaper and covers my needs.
The Dell version seems to support up to 4 screens in total while the Raidsonic supports 3 screens.

Here are some details of this version.
If a second external screen should be needed, I can connect that one to the DVI connection either with a DVI cable or a DVI to HDMI adapter cable.

I suppose most USB 3.0 support a maximum of 1080p Full HD at 60fps and if 4k is available they are probably only running 30fps?
