hello,
I purchased an Acer nitro 7 on 1st January. until February end the laptop was working like a pearl but this month the laptop is having many fps issues. this is a gaming laptop so I expect good fps but it's far from that, I usually get around 30 fps in every game with a lot of stuttering here and there, in short, the games are unplayable even if I lower the settings to a minimum then also it barely reaches 45 fps.i almost everyday update the whole of laptops driver in a hope that this issue gets fixed even I have cleaned the laptop and deleted everything unnecessary and I take a ton of care of this laptop still I don't see any result I don't know why I am getting these issues and I have also searched all over the internet but nothing seems to help. I also saw a guy having the same laptop as mine was gaming GTA 5 at constant 60 fps I tried his setting but I was again capped at 30-45fps with a ton of stuttering and the things get worse when I minimize game and then open it again game dosen't even give 23 fps in the whole session I don't get it how we can have such a difference in the performance using the same laptop and same setting. This is getting on my nerves and I have had enough.i have even checked if v sync is not at half as it cause fps lock at 30 fps but v sync is also off i even tried turing it on but yet it was worthless. mind it, I used to play AAA titles like Witcher 3 and GTA 5 on 60 fps in the first months but now this laptop's showing its true colours. I want to know as to why is this happening to me if it were to happen to the whole community who owns this laptop that also it would have been considerable but people with this laptop are enjoying a solid 60 fps game while I try to figure out how do I make my games playable while being on the same system.

MODEL NAME- AN715-51
PART NUMBER- NH.Q5FSI.006

Can someone please help me I know my system is capable but why is this happening? I am very tired and sad as for me it was an expensive laptop. Which has honestly become worthless...

1)Set high performance plan from nitrosense
    2)always play while plug in
    important-
Update your graphic driver you have to install nvidia software for that, driver in acer site are just base driver.

    GET GAME READY DRIVER

For each major game release, NVIDIA works closely with developers to boost performance, fix bugs, and improve your gaming experience. Technologies like NVIDIA GameWorks™ give you the tools to optimize gameplay and bring you these improvements through a Game Ready driver update. GeForce Experience automatically notifies you when these drivers are available and, with a single click, lets you update to the latest driver—without leaving your desktop.

First time Download software from nvidia site, go through my link then select you graphic card details and download game ready driver

    https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx

After installation open nvidia software go 3d settings and add you game .exe file and set plan high performance nvidia processor then you can open you game

This is a nvidia laptop, so it would be better if he updates the nvidia drivers.

Hey buddy i did all the necessary but i think that its a bottleneck of some sort or maybe some other app that i dont know about is using my resources ..
But i am unable to figure out i went to all extent and did everything but no fix i use the geforce experience app and my optimal setting in gta 5 just fall a dot below the hd side and when i select optimal i get 25-36 fps at max and when i go all the way in the middle i get 45 fps but terrible graphics..

graphics with stable fps are the only thing one need in a gaming laptop.
If you want i can attach a gameplay for you convince.

    @GAMING6698
Like after 30 minutes of gameplay i started to see a little fps drops from place to place at medium settings and for that period of time i created a chart

    10 MIN --- CPU- 50
                      GPU- 40

    20 MIN --- CPU- 80
                       GPU- 60

    30-45 MIN--- CPU- 90-96
                            GPU- 65-78
after i know ifni continue then the temp. Will increase by 1-2 deg. And later the game becomes unplayable

@Tarush8 because of cpu temperature, when temperature goes 90°C or more then clock speed decreases to protect system.at time your game become unplayable.

Is your laptop is still under warranty and is their is any seal or sticker in the back of your laptop on the top of screw

    Hey,
Yes, my system is under warranty as it's only 2 months old as of now and yeah there is a seal at the back which says warranty void if broken...

    Answer ✓
@Tarush8 Everything is ok but temperature is not normal.probably this is because of bad thermal paste.you need to visit service centre they will apply new thermal paste and clean your fan,air vent. This is only solution
