My acer nitro 5s battery died, and when I plugged it it had no lights on the side come on, when I hit the power button the blue light blinks (even when not connected to charger) and I have no orange light, i tested the charger and it is working fine

For the battery reset did you followed the steps?
Battery reset. Power off your laptop and unplug from power adapter. Press the battery reset button (about 5 seconds). Leave your laptop alone un-powered for about 30 minutes.

Please click "Yes" if I have answered your question.

You don`t need to delete the driver you just have to uninstall it. Never mind, did the battery reset helped?

Sorry, laptop wasn't turning on before, ANC515-42, as a update it haw now turned on with solid blue and blinking orange, but the battery is not charging, it is stuck at 0%, ive tried rebooting and using the battery reset button underneath. I am comfortable with opening up my computer and disconnecting the battery if this helps in some way.
