Hi, So I just got an acer predator helios 300, 5 months ago and the performance has just been terrible everytime I play a game or just have multiple programs running the laptop would then start overheating up to 80 or 90 and I thought that was normal since I don't really have the knowledge about Gaming Laptops but the laptop kept on crashing whenever I stopped playing a game or sometimes when I'm ingame so I looked for some possible solutions for this matter I thought about getting the laptop itself fixed at my local acer store but currently all stores right now are closed so I then try to look for some other solutions and I found undervolting.

So I looked up some videos and tutorials on what's the best way to undervolt your laptop and I found one, So I tried to undervolt my laptop using the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility program but when I try to change the settings it just comes back the default settings? So my question is, Is there any way I can fix this in the Extreme Tuning Utility Program cause when I hit apply it just comes back the default settings..

Here's an image on what my settings look like right now:

I really need help with this one, Since i just got this pc like 5 months ago and it started overheating everytime when I play a game, Any help would be appreciated!

1)Set high performance plan from predatorsense
    2)always play while plug in
    important-
Update your graphic driver you have to install nvidia software for that, driver in acer site are just base driver.

    GET GAME READY DRIVER

For each major game release, NVIDIA works closely with developers to boost performance, fix bugs, and improve your gaming experience. Technologies like NVIDIA GameWorks™ give you the tools to optimize gameplay and bring you these improvements through a Game Ready driver update. GeForce Experience automatically notifies you when these drivers are available and, with a single click, lets you update to the latest driver—without leaving your desktop.

First time Download software from nvidia site, go through my link then select you graphic card details and download game ready driver

    https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx

After installation open nvidia software go 3d settings and add you game .exe file and set plan high performance nvidia processor then you can open you game
