Following an online forum on here I deleted my faulty Qualcomm Atheros and can not access the network to get it back. How do I redownload it without access to the internet?

I don’t think I properly backed up the laptop when I first got it but I have a memory stick with recovery media on it that has a few files, I can’t access some of them properly as some require network connection.

I know this may sound simplistic but if you have access to a friends computer go to the link below and enter your model number or snid, then click the Driver tab and download the Qualcom driver to a USB stick. Go to your computer and transfer the Driver file to your desktop and unzip it if it is zipped then install it via the .exe file

Please click YES if I answered your question

I am not an ACER employee
Thank you and have a blessed day  B)

Firstly, you cant update your driver without the net! Have you tried to reboot your laptop and see if the old drivers reinstalled in Device Manager? Also, which laptop have you got e.g. model number and if you know your WiFi/BT card? There is a dedicated Atheros site, which has allot and maybe all of the Atheros Qualcomm drivers, as they have newer drivers than what Acer would have for your WiFi/BT card. Its called the "Unofficial Qualcomm Atheros drivers website" see here: https://www.ath-drivers.eu/
