I need a Windows 10 Driver for my ACER SL232HL display. The display extemds outside the perimeter of the screen when I connect via HDMI cable to my new Lenovo WIndws 10 laptop.Acer web site does not have a Windows 10 driver listed.

    Good Morning rmbura !

Windows 10 does not work with monitor drivers like other versions.
So there are no such drivers.

What it says is a question of configuration and support of the HDMi cable in the correct version and in the monitor and GPU settings

Using the same HDMI cable that I used prior with Windows 7 laptop. Played with display setting and no way to squeeze in the picture on the display. Also played with Windows display settings and Intel Graphics driver (recognizes display model). Lastly update in device manager the driver and now show ACERS242HL as driver.

My problem is I just need to squeeze in display parameters like an inch or two as display extends out over edge of display.

Any assistance is appreciated as not willing to pay $99.99 or even $20 for ACER third party support to help me, it’s the point, not the money.

What display resolution is Windows using? Do you overscan turned on anywhere?

Overscan is a feature that allows TVs to display their images without a border on the edges. That's done by expanding the display slightly to overlap the sides.

More likely it's a feature of the graphics drivers, check there first.
