Acer Spin 13 Why is the crosh report for my battery health so low on my new computer?

I got a new "Acer Spin 13," like 5 days ago, and the first charge was a hundred percent, because I know that's important, and for the first couple days it was running perfectly, (I didn't run the crosh report then because I didn't know how or to do so.) But after, on about the 3rd or 4th day, it started running slower, the fans were abnormally loud, it was only lasting an hour and change on 100 percent, and taking an extremely long time to charge. I researched a bit on why it would do that, and some people told me to check the battery health on crosh, and so I did. And when I checked it, I found out that the battery health was 80.30 percent! I was so surprised that my brand new computer would have such a low battery health, and went to many online communities. I factory reset it, and took off the bottom and took the battery out and put it back in. The battery health stayed the same, but it started to last longer. Now it lasts about 7-8 hours if I'm not doing anything too battery burning like playing minecraft or such. What should I do about the battery health? Should I replace the battery? Or should we request a replacement?

Likely the numbers you are seeing aren't accurate. Try a battery reset (should be a reset hole, press with a paper clip for 15-30 seconds, then wait fifteen minutes or longer and turn it back on. If that doesn't help a battery recalibration requires running on battery until it shuts off, charging it until fully charged, turning it back on, then repeating the process a few times. Each time will get the numbers to be more accurate.

    Good evening k8liu11 !

The first thing is NEVER use the device for high performance activities (such as playing) on the battery only.

Which EXACT model of your laptop?

My model doesn't have a reset hole, as the bottom has the slots for the fans and thats it

Disconnect the device from the power and turn off, press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
Then turn the device back on.
