I bought it on Tuesday and it worked fine initially then last night the connection went down, I've tried a number of fixes that I've found online but nothing works, the connection restores intermittently then drops out again. My other laptops connect fine so not a problem with the router. I've got the Norton security installed as the package which came with it, and McAfee which comes through my isp. I've disabled the Mcafee in case it was the two  packages conflicting and restarted laptop but still no joy. Wondering if I should do a factory reset to check if it is a faulty driver or just return and get a replacement. Any suggestions?

    1. Try to uninstall the wireless network driver from the device manager and check but before doing this try the below step first and check.

Power drain: First turn off the laptop and unplug the charger, Look at the back of your laptop and you can see a small pin hole. Put a paper clip inside the pinhole, press and hold the paper clip for 40 seconds.Make sure when you press and hold the paper clip you will feel like pressing on to a button inside the pin hole.Than try to power on the laptop and check.

BIOS default:Press the power button but as soon as you press than power button , tap on the F2 key repeatedly untill you get the BIOS setup utility page. Once you enter the BIOS press the F9 and press enter and press F10 press enter. The unit will restart , after the unit comes on check and see.

@Jack22 thank you, just checking do you mean the charger hole? It's the only one I can find and it's on the side?
