AN715-51-73BU Nitro 7 Laptop 144hz Screen only showing 60hz?... How do I change it?

Just received a new Acer Nitro 7 Laptop with a 144hz screen that was advertised & the reason I bought it was for that. I cannot get it to switch off 60hz & when trying to change it through display settings it shows no other option other then 60hz... I made for sure that I ordered a 144hz so if it's truly not then I guess I return it being false advertising.

Hi,
Go to Device manager, expand Monitors, right click Generic PnP monitor and select Properties, move to Details tab, select "Hardware IDs" with the drop down arrow and post the snip showing Value window.

Sorry mate, but this model is not advertized as 144Hz and the panel is 60Hz look here -

So whoever advertized it to you as 144Hz have lied.

@Phatisimo Can you copy and paste the link to the website where you bought the laptop? In addition to what colleague @batmalin said, if your model had come with a 144hz display, there should be some seal on the display or on the right side of the touchpad, showing that there is a 144hz display.
