    Hi, it 's 2020 now. I also have an Acer E5-575G, but my CPU is i7-7500U  intel 7th gen chipset
    I have check that this CPU will support the intel optane, doesn't it?
    but I just don't know Does the bios of mainboard support for the intel optane?
    my version bios:  V1.47

    Sorry no. But even if it were supported, I would instead strongly recommend installing an m.2 2280 SSD or cloning your existing 2.5" HDD with a 2.5" SSD. The m.2 and 2.5" SSDs are much faster and cheaper these days than trying to speed up an HDD with outdated optane memory cache.   Jack E/NJ

    Thank you JackE. But I would like to relace HHD by SSD. So i have M2 slot for the Optane. Can I do it????

    If you replace the 2.5"  HDD with a 2.5" SSD,  optane won't be needed nor helpful. Then you can add a regular SSD card into the free m.2 slot anytime if you need more storage. Jack E/NJ
