Good day!
I need to upgrade my laptop but I'm having a bit of trouble concerning with the "needs-to-be-the-same-make" or "dual channel issues," you know stuff like that. I haven't opened the laptop's back cover yet but the seller said one of the ram slots has a chip soldered in it already, with its uh properties below from CPU-Z.

At first I was planning to add a 4 GB DDR4 2400 MHz chip but task manager says I'm allowed to utilize only 3.4 gb of my current ram; apparently 573 MB is hardware reserved, which I don't know for what, since AMD's new to me and I've never had this hardware reserved thingy with Intel stuff.
Now I'm planning to plug in an 8 GB version of the DDR4 2400 MHz chip, will it be okay? Stuff about dual channeling (like flex mode for AMD) and all. I've read articles that recommended I should plug in another "same make, same size, etc." ram chip. What do you guys think?
