Just wondering if there is interest in what is needed for a real home office. Have been building into closets since the last century and was a telecommuter for over a decade. Major difference
1) Big flat monitors are cheap, using two 27s and a 24 at the moment. Can do easily with a laptop, docking station, and real keyboard and mouse/trackball. Roku stick is nice.
2) Biggest speed advantage is a modern 500 GB SSD, can make a slow desktop look like a hot rod. Under a Benjamin today.
3) Windows 10-64 is best with 8GB of DDR4. 6GB is marginal, Less will bite you.
4) Woot just had HP Envoy wireless printers for $40
Wondering if Windows to Go will make a comeback for corporate/enterprise/agency use. Provides excellent security for telecommuters but never caught on.
