Coz in my case my acer predator helios 300 2019 model bios is still in 1.05. Also was planning to upgrade my hdd and ssd. Would it be affected my upgrading process if the bios is not updated.
Thanks in advance for everyone answering my query. Much appreciated.

    Hi,
If you have PH315-52 model, the latest BIOS version is for Intel Power Management Control firmware, so it's better to update to 1.10 but it's entirely up to you to make the decision because BIOS updates are different from normal driver updates and it may brick your laptop, most of the time it's done without any problem, if you are not familiar with the procedure, get it done by a professional at a local repair shop, if you feel confident doing the update, please take the precautions below:
1.Download the zip file from Acer support site and extract it to your Desktop.
2.Uninstall or disable any third party AV programs.
3.Disconnect any peripherals such as Printers, USB drives.
4.Charge the battery to maximum level(100%)
5.Close all background programs and websites, close all browsers.
6.Make sure to select a time others in your household not using the Internet.
7.Make sure that there won't be any power cut in your area(this is out of your control).
    8. Keep the AC adapter connected during the update.
9.Open the extracted folder, right click .exe file and select "Run as Admin", follow the prompts on the screen.
10.Once the process starts, do not touch any button or switch off the laptop, it's better to leave the laptop alone.
You may already have known all these steps but to make sure I have posted, good luck with your update.

In my personal view if there's no issues no need to update the bios at all unless it's to solve any issues that the bios notes state
