Hello,

I am trying to upgrade the BIOS in the above box.
The current BIOS is dated 2013.
I get the latest BIOS from ACER.CA and its dated 2015.
When I try and run wflash.bat I get the below error message...
I am running command prompt in admin mode

Is the above error message due to a incompatible rom file?
Any suggestions appreciated.

Exactly so. Many models ship with different motherboards at the end of their life than the ones used in the early models. The BIOS has to match the MB... IIRC the P11 and P21 BIOSes are for the different MBs.

I applied the P21-A4 and got a bit petrified there for a few moments...it would not boot into windows. But I was able to get in the bios settings and I turned an option off .....I am now in Windows and seeing all my devices.  WHeeeew

    Should I apply P21-B4?

Great! The first boot attempt after a BIOS update can be a little heart wrenching, if they set the default for something that shouldn't be... :)
