For almost 7 years I've been running off an Acer Aspire 5349 learning everything I know about completely repairing computers and how to upgrade components. It's been an amazing laptop even with it's low benchmark specs but I still wouldn't give it up not even for a higher end one. I know there has to be an abandoned warehouse with excess parts somewhere out there so do you think we could get some legacy components made available to us loyal customers? Every month I go to search for the same old parts and it's getting to the point I can't really find them anymore why not make a few more dollars off is old time customers or even have a comeback and sell some older models for all those collectors out there? I mean if you got a stockpile of it you get to clean out your storage and get paid for doing it or is this only a good idea in my head?

What part(s) do you need? Most parts are easily found by part number but we have to know what part? For example, a DVD drive could have a part number like KU.00807.075 which can be found for about $5 on ebay. What parts are you looking for? There are hundreds of parts. Jack E/NJ
