hi i have acer nitro 5 and i use it to play empire total war i try to run a clock in my phone so i can monitor how long the battery can last and i notice that i can only play for 1hr and 30minutes is this normal or my battery has a problem?i didnt even open my wifi so i can save battery

    This is normal. Gaming laptop or modern day laptop drains battery fast. They are designed to play while plugin.

    When you play or use your laptop while plugin then system use 100% power .if you playing without plugin then your system use 50% of power according to your system.

    You can check this by benchmark .first run without charging and then run with charging.

    This is completely normal.  The idea of a gaming laptop is not so much that you can do you gaming sessions wherever on battery power, but more that you can take your laptop and plug it in anywhere to game.  So you still have the advantage of not being anchored the way you are with a desktop PC, which is heavy and requires a lot of setup and cables and components, but you do need to plug in for longevity and performance if you are using it to game.  Beyond not being able to give you much longevity, a battery also isn't capable of producing the same power output as the external power supply is.

    This is not a flaw of the Nitro laptops, just an inherent part of laptop gaming.
