power more than needed

Power required by a computer system (measured by reputable sites) is 480 watts. But if power is installed more than needed, for example 1200 or 1800 for this system, then no problem???????? It is normal not to use some power cables or connectors.

    It will work fine, the system will not draw more power than it needs. As long as the PSU is large enough to handle the draw it doesn't matter if it can do more.
