Dear all,
I have a ACER Swift 3 (model SF315-51). It worked properly for 14 months, until 2-3 days ago.
It writes no "No bootable device".
Moreover, the boot priority order in the bios is totally empty.
Could you please tell me how I could recover ?
Yours sincerely,

With the machine off, press and hold the F2 key to re-enter the BIOS menu. Does the BIOS Information tab identify the HDD or SSD? If not, the HDD or SSD connector has probably loosened from the mainboard. Needs to be reseated. Jack E/NJ

Yes. The two disks are listed in page 1 (Bios Information) - HDD1 = pcie & HDD2 = 1To HDD, but none in the boot priority order.
Any idea ?0 -
>>>It worked properly for 14 months, until 2-3 days ago.>>>What else happened immediately before this no bootable device issue popped up? An error like this is rare except when trying to install another operating system or changing the UEFI bootstrap mode. Jack E/NJ

Nothing special. I closed the PC screen as usual. It went to sleep mode. And never waked up.0

Remove the charger. Then press and hold the power button again for at least 10 seconds. Then check the bottom of the laptop for a battery reset pinhole. If the pinhole exists, gently insert a paper clip for about 30 seconds. Let the machine rest for 15 minutes. Then plug the charger back in. And try to turn the machine back on. Jack E/NJ

Unfortunately, it doesn't help either.
I heve unplug the charger.
When pressing the power button, the first 3 sec shows a small orange led on the right. Then PC turn off completely off.
The pinhole is indeed present on the back.
I can feel the small button that is pressed when the pin touch it. 30 sec.
Then 15 min of rest.
Then both switch one again, or switch one + F2 doesn t fix the problem.
The priority list still emply. And No bootable device.0 -
Turn the laptop completely off again. Then press and hold the ALT+F10 keys. While still holding the ALT+F10 keys, what happens when you press the power button to try to turn the laptop back on? Don't let go of the ALT+F10 keys while trying to turn the machine on. Jack E/NJ

No option for boot mode??0

Nope. Many newer machines no longer have Legacy BIOS overlay. Not really needed any more for Windows or Linux installations. Jack E/NJ

"real solution here!" for some reason I have the same problem I have a unit of acer aspire 3 x451m and my boot priority is also empty even though I replace my old hard drive.. and for some reason legacy option on this unit has been disable... so here is what you should do 100% working disable security boot then create a bootable flash drive with this format "UEFI" with NTFS format not FAT32" so when you press the f12 on start up you will see your USB flash drive... that's it I hope this will help you

Power-on & Alt-F10 does not work. You made me this advice on last March 17th.
Switching off for 10 sec + press the back with a pin hole + wait 15 min does not change anything either (you made this advice last March 16th.
What else can be checked ?
At leat to get a USB boot for instance...0
