The correct method for gaming with a Nitro 5:
Charge battery to 100% BEFORE gaming then KEEP plugged into charger while gaming. The charger shuts off when the battery is at 100% then when the battery drops to around 95% it will start an on/off process of trickle charging

Is there any way to fix the trickle charging because sometimes i play without my charger plugged in to save energy

No, The Nitro 5 series gaming laptops are designed to be used for gaming in the manner I have described above. Leaving your laptop plugged in will use a very small amount of energy, it trickle charges to keep your battery around 100% or your game performance will suffer. You need to understand that your laptop never uses power directly it only uses battery. All charging shuts off at 100% and no power is used

No it's ok not to have the charger plugged in at all times. Make sure it is plugged in for games with the battery at 100% BEFORE gaming. When you are using it for routine tasks it is fine and even good to use it without the charger. Good practice for laptop batteries is to let them drain down to around 10% and recharge to 100% about once per month, this recalibrates the battery meter and promotes good battery health

Okay thank you. Sometimes though is it okay for me to just play games without my charger? Or while gaming always have it in at 100%

You can play without your charger but your processor will be slower and game performance will suffer. Don't do it to much or long term battery life will be reduced. As I said Nito 5 gaming laptops are designed to game on AC power for maximum performance and overall battery life

Exactly, don't play games too much without your charger, a little is OK but do your heavy gaming plugged in with the Battery at 100% before playing

Is it normal for trickle charging to occur even when im not playing games? Because although I am not playing and just going through youtube i still have my charger charging then uncharging on its own
