Hello. I had played the witcher, my temperature for cpu and gpu were less 85C. When  Ive smelt a burning plastic. I immediately switched my laptop off and then my GPU stopped working. In device manager, it showed me error 43. ( Everything works expect nvidia's gpu) I opened my laptop (pic 1), opened the heat sink (pic 2) and saw two burned out identical chips. (pic 3 and 4). On them 1r0 812 C4M is written. I tried to find them on internet but couldn't find anything.
My model is PH317-51, please help me with that. I think I need to see their voltage or amps, biut as I don't have the scheme, I can't do it.

@ZilDim of you're still on warranty you would have to send it back which I suspect you're not unfortunately any soldered hardware requires a complete mobo replacement that would cost minimum 500 to 600+ USD and you can't find those chips anywhere unless you're a microelectronics engineer and find a donor mobo to swap them nothing done those are only available on assembly in the factory that makes the mobos not even acer has the exact specs for all chips/capacitors in a mobo

    Hi ZilDim,

We are sorry to hear you are having this issue with your Predator unit. Please contact Acer repair in your region.

The Acer Community is a peer to peer platform and since the issue seams to be related to hardware, the support channel would be more appropriate for this matter.

    Regards,
    Acer-karp.

I am very sorry to see these, unfortunately, the Acer community is not a direct port to technical support or any escalation source to make and take decisions like these presented here today for example "this looks like a burnt Motherboards and can be caused by many, many things, unfortunately, they are not considered defect from factory, so i don't think this will be something covered under warranty", you will need to contact the local Acer support local services so you can be better assisted, unfortunately as i mentioned, we are not able to make a decision from the Acer community by any pictures/screenshot.

Please click on the link and select the country that you're on and select support tab for any contact information and to make the report: https://www.acer.com/worldwide/

    Thanks in advance,
