an object was dropped on the keyboard and broke the hard drive. I replaced the hard drive and it is visible in the BIOS information screen but nothing is visible in the boot menu in BIOS. When I try to boot from USB but by pressing F12 on boot it shows the boot screen but no USB or hard drive. The hard drive and the USB has been tested on another computer and both work. I've tried resetting the BIOS and putting paper clip in battery hole to simulate removing battery which made no difference. Anybody got any ideas?

The USB works on another computer as does the hard drive.
