Hi. I just go a new laptop, above model. It turns on only plugged in and it shuts down after a couple minutes. When it shuts down, the orange charging led goes off and I cannot turn the laptop back on until I unplug and plug in the power adapter again.

It is not charging, shows 0% available, plugged in and charging, but it doesn’t charge.

I have already tried with other power adapters, uninstalling the battery driver, the battery reset with the button on the mobo, other rams and removing the cmos battery to reset bios. Nothing.

I’ve readed that there is some sort of power interrupter button that messes with the laptop if not properly pressed, but this is a new laptop. I did open it to install more ram but made sure it was tightly closed. Also this model doesn’t seem to have that button, because I cannot locate it, only the one that resets the battery.

Cannot try a system reset or upgrade due to the laptop shutting down after a couple minutes...

Any suggestions? I cannot take it back to warranty, I’m not in the US, I took ot to my country with a intl courier service :(

Since, this is a hardware issue for laptops you would have international travellers warranty. Please check the link and contact the support.
