Bought a good Acer monitor KS271 bmidpx, and upon loading any of the custom screensavers from "really slick screensavers" website the monitor goes all haywire and I have to turn it off and back on again to get it to stop acting up. The regular screensavers that come with Windows work just fine, It's only the custom ones that act up and I've never had issues with them before. I'm not an expert on color calibration or tweaking the pixels and all that kind of stuff. It is a decent monitor attached through DisplayPort, RGB Full Color, Full HD 1080. I'll attach a couple photos.

With opengl 'microcosm' screensaver ON (preview mode):

After escaping preview mode:

After turning it off and on again the monitor plays games very well, its not damaged as far as I know its brand new. Like I said before I'm not good with calibration and axis hue and pixels. I've been on sites to help calibrate the monitor and set color and brightness and everything seems in working order.
Any suggestions?

It's obviously having issues with your display drivers, the vertical breaks are caused by incorrectly setting horizontal sync. Look in his FAQ to see his responses for people having similar issues, then check for updates to your video drivers. I first thought that since he hasn't updated for several years that he was just having Windows 10 incompatibilities, but I tried it on my tablet which has a higher resolution screen than your monitor does and it worked just fine in W10.

You can download the user manual for this monitor from here and follow the instructions to reset it. Post resetting the monitor test it again.

If the issue persists, then update the monitor drivers manually.
