    Hello,
    I have an issue while installing Windows 7 on my Helios 300 PH317-52. I checked many ISO files and always problem is the same (funny thing is that I have no issue with USB drive). When I reboot my laptop in order to start instalation from my USB drive (I set everything in BIOS) it goes well but only at the beginning, I can see on my screen information about loading files (at the bottom, its the very beginning) but then screen changes to another one where I can see "Starting Windows" and animation of colored balls. Unfortunately after several seconds screen freezes and everything stops.

    Please check the short movie I have made myself:
    https://drive.google.com/open?id=1NRUriPCa8_WSOsrhBeG8W6jlvvF2jz8V

    The only difference I had trying diferent ISO was ULTIMATE version of Windows where I went through whole instalation (including disk formatting, etc) but at the end of instalation I had to reboot my PC (according to instalation procedure) and when I saw on my screen again "Starting Windows" and those 4 different color balls animation it stoped at exact same time.

    Any idea what can be a reason?
    Thanks

    Arek

    At this point any support for windows 7 it's finished o still use it on all my older machines but that's about it you won't have any updates and some of the software already started to drop support because Microsoft demands so it's still the greatest os since win xp but to use as daily work os its no good anymore 😉 and seems to me your issue might be either drivers not loading or missing that's why it freezes I suggest u to first find all win7 drivers needed for your device like chipset/ahci etc just the basic to be able to boot the os and add them to the iso image then burn it again it's a bit complicated just give Google a search and you'll find what I'm talking about

    My idea is to compare both systems in terms of botting. I think Win7 would be better solution for my bots than win10 but i cannot even compare :( Maybe someone could help me out with installation. Thanks in advance.

    that would explain why i could install one ultimate version because after 1st reboot of my pc there was no "Starting Windows" screen only it went into instalation screen imediately so I could go through all steps, then after another reboot "Starting Windows" screen appeared and that was over

    @Oops I thought you said you had installed it in legacy ahci mode and not uefi when u stated that u changed all the options needed in the bios (well aparently not) because 7 doesn't support it uefi>gpt only as I had already explained before legacy ahci>mbr

    @Oops

    Here’s some tutorials on how to use virtual box.  You probably need at least 16GB ram so it’s not sluggish/laggy.

       Good luck.

    Use Oracle VM VirtualBox v6.1.4 (download here: https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads) and install Win-7 that way, I've got a Win-7 vehicle workshop manual on Oracle VM VirtualBox v6.1.4 works perfectly!
