It's kinda long so a shortened version at the bottom.

Well I used thi laptop like for a month or two, Did some programming in Visual Studio and got BSOD. That corupted (somehow) the audio drivers, so i did a full reinstall from the support webpage. Now the audio works, Dolby Audio kinda works (it is shutting itself down randomly). It sometimes did shutdown itself down in the past, when an Application requested direct acces to the audio interface, so i just fired up the UI and turned it back on. But now the driver shuts down randomly without any cause (or turns off, i can't tell the diference sadly) and i have to dig through windows menus, find the device i am currently using and manualy, in the properties, turn it on. AND as a bonus, i can't change any settings from the ui, because its just stuck (the UI) on a boot loop. (the tray icon doesn't show up after i open the app with the icon from start menu.) When it once showed up for like a minute after startup i managet to right click it and choose the "open app" option. Got back an error stating, that my instalation of Dolby Audio is incomplete. so i did another clean reinstall, no success, still the same old story.
Please help

TL:DR - Dolby Audio UI not working and Dolby Audio Driver Glitchy after a BSOD. Repeated clean audio driver reinstall did not help.

Thanks for any help in advance.

What do you mean by full re-install? Was it a cold boot ALT+F10 remove everything factory reset from the hidden recovery partition? And what do you mean by clean audio driver re-install? Where'd you get the driver?  Jack E/NJ

@jakna Try this and if it solves your problem please click YES

    1. Go to Control Panel/Uninstall Program and uninstall anything that says Dolby.
    2. Go to your support page and download the Realtek Audio Driver and save it to the Desktop (I know it's already installed but please do it)
    3. Open the file but do NOT run the Realtek installer. Instead Double click on DAX2 then double click X64 then double click on DAX2 App Release, answer yes to any  security popups.
When it has installed Restart then go back to your start menu from the windows Icon and see if Dolby is now there, if it is click it and the black Dolby Icon can be dragged to your Taskbar. This has worked for me when I had a similar problem to yours

Please click YES if I answered your question

Thank you and have a blessed day  B)
