I recently bought an Acer nitro 5 and it is extremely slow.

So I bought this nitro 5 yesterday and today I was doing all the updates, now apparently there is nothing else on the list to update, but the problem is that the system keeps saying that I am using 100% of my disk memory, it's laggy and I can barely open 2 programs at the same time without it being stuttering all over the place. 
2. I also have a problem where the NVIDIA CONTROL PANEL IS MISSING notification pops up and when I try to download it or update the drivers it doesn't do anything.

Hi,
Could you please tell us whether you have any third party AV programs installed, perhaps a trial version of Norton, McAfee etc. if you have, please uninstaal with their removal tool, you need to use their tool in the link below to completely remove the program without any leftover files.
You could also consider installing a M.2 SSD, transfer the OS to it and use as the boot drive, 5400rpm 1TB drive may cause the slowness of your system.
As for the 100% disk usage, please try the solutions in the video, you don't need to do all at once, try one solution at a time and check the performance of the laptop for any change.
