Memory for helios 300 PH317-52

I have a predator helios 300 PH317-52 and want to add new memory.
It currently has 16GB of memory - 2666MHz, CL19
I want to get 32GB (2x16GB) of DDR4, 3200MHz, CL20 memory - Crucial CT2K16G4SFD832A.
Is the memory compatible with the laptop? Will it run at 2666Mhz or 3200Mhz and at what latency?
Is it possible to modify the memory settings?

    Good Morning Dutu !

Which EXACT model of your laptop?

    These series support 32GB of RAM (2 slots) So-DIMM DDR4 2400 / 2666Mhz by default

The frequency of RAM is limited by the support of the chipset's processor and controllers.
Even if you have an XMP profile, RAMs have these limits imposed.
So possibly your device will only work at 2666.

    Hi,
2133/2400MHz is the recommended speed for your model, if you have 2666MHz running at at hat speed, I would suggest you to upgrade with another 16GB 2666MHz module, if you want to try 3200MHz modules, you could try them at your own risk, they may only work at 2666MHz but can not confirm.

Its processor is an i7-8750H that has a support limit of 2666Mhz frequency.
