Hello,

Last night while using my Acer laptop nitro 5 AN515-51-50DX it suddenly went out.
So I thought of an empty battery, so I put the charger on, and I don’t see any charge lights.
Unable to turn the computer back on I tried a battery reset but nothing does.

I wasn’t even using the computer I was just on the windows desktop...

Do you have any idea?

  • Hi,
Switch off the laptop, disconnect from mains, remove memory modules and wipe the pins, reinsert the modules at an angle and push them down until they click in to the retainer clips.

    Nothing change
  • Hi,
Did you leave the laptop to rest for a while after the battery reset? If not, give it a try again leaving the laptop to rest for about 15-20 mins, reconnect the AC adapter and fully charge the battery before start using.

Possible bad charger and your battery discharged without you noticing, there should be a light on when plugged into the charger and the charger is supplying power. Go to a local computer repair store and ask them if you could plug into one of there chargers and see if it works

i have power to the AC, just tested with a voltmeter
  • Hi,
Open the RAM door and check whether the rubber part has any damage or not making proper contact with the micro switch on the motherboard, if you see any damage, apply a layer of non-conductive tape, make sure the RAM door screw is hand tightened.
