I have seen a previous thread of this but no answers so I am hoping to reboot this. I have the standard 750 watt PSU (Which I am assuming this is the issue). When I turn on the desktop it will start to make a loud buzzing noise and will a lot of the time sit on a black screen. Hoping I could just replace the fan but I do not know the specs of it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Verify first that it is the fan. Take it apart enough to vacuum out the dust, fan noise is often just an imbalance in the blades due to dust buildup. Make sure you clean each of the fans, there are likely more than one with PSU, CPU and GPU. Next, while the side cover is still off, try powering it up to make sure each of the fans spins up. From there you can often see specifically which fan is buzzing if the cleaning hasn't fixed things. There are three things you need to know about the fan in order to find a compatible replacement; the space between the holes on a side (typically measured in millimeters), the thickness of the fan (also in millimeters) and the number of wires in the power connector (two, three or four usually).
