Whole system freeze up after driver update Predator G9-593

I have an acer Predator G9-593 with GTX 10860 and am having issues with any driver newer then 387.92. Any diver newer then that just freezes my whole computer about 10-15 seconds after startup. The only way to get around this is to boot into safe mode with the drivers disabled and uninstall it. Then boot up regularly  and install driver 387.92. Then the computer runs fine and this wasn't an issue until the drivers has become to outdated to run Steams VR system. Ive tried updating pretty much every driver on my computer with nothing working.

    Have you tried 416.94 (im using that driver since it came out never upgraded again not a single issue on mine had to force upgrade because o BF5 and BO they dindt worked in the stock if it wasnt that would still be on it) also make sure you uninstall the driver completely either with DDU or clean install when installing it worst case scenario if your recovery partition its still intact backup whatever you need and perform a stock recovery clean install select delete everything option to completely rule out any software issues that windows updates might have caused
