Acer A515-43 touchpad not working

Hello! I've literally just purchased this laptop today. Decided to go with a clean Windows 10 Pro install, then installed all the drivers from Acer's own support site. No matter what I do, or how much I scour the internet, I can't find a solution.

Synaptics driver only installs in Win8 compatibility mode, otherwise it fails. Once I install both of the touchscreen drivers, nothing new appears in device manager. Tried toggling with Fn+F7, no result. Checked BIOS, no options for touchpad. In device manager, under HID devices, there's a wired mouse listed. Under system devices, the AMD I2C driver has a yellow triangle and the error below.

Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)
{Driver Entry Point Not Found}
The %hs device driver could not locate the entry point %hs in driver %hs.

Everything else seems to be working fine, but it's maddening that I can't get the touchpad to work at all. Any solutions or ideas?

Thank you for your time.

    When I made a clean install of Windows 10 Pro on a new SSD but in an 8 year old Lenovo I had lots of issues and yellow exclamation marks in Device Manager. I had no touch pad input, no keyboard input and no mouse input and "frozen" for Storage device password in BIOS. Using the on-screen keyboard I limped to the Windows download site and using their Media Creation Tool did a new install directly ON THIS COMPUTER with KEEPING MY FILES AND APPLICATIONS.

    The task took hours but with little input required so I went to bed. Next morning I found everything working properly. (Beware: these downloads eat up many gigabytes.)
