XB273K 27" Monitor Prevents PC from booting

Brand new XB273K, dual Displayport connections, MSI GTX 1080 video card; prevents machine from POSTing or booting (reboot too). I've tried it on two different machines with the same video card. If I disconnect the XB273K and leave my Viewsonic connected, the machine will boot (and POST too). What gives here? Any suggestions? In order to get into BIOS, I have to boot off my Viewsonic. In order to reboot the machine, I have to disconnect the Predator monitor and use the Viewsonic.
